Reflections - October 21, 2010

Today at OH-Institute most of the kids at school went out to Rosemary and neighboring towns to sell out ScarecrOHs. They raised a total of $870 just today!!!! This morning I worked on some Latin and completed some vocab cards. I also worked on the paper with Mrs. Sylvia...she is such a big help!!! After Mrs. Sylvia left I revised my paper and made corrections to it. I had some lunch and walked to tennis with McKenzie. After tennis I did some more Latina and now I am going to go and clean so bye now!!! :)

Reflections - October 13, 2010

Today I took the PSAT at South Walton High School. The test was not that hard. It was easier than I expected but I still have some studying and preparing to do. After the PSAT we went to lunch at Summer Kitchen. After lunch we played kickball and now we are re-picking teams! After kickball we went to music and it was SO unproductive for me. I then did some Algebra and about to clean. Going to Disney tomorrow! Yippieee :D

Reflections - October 12, 2010

I had a half day at OH today. This morning I stayed home to get some FLVS done. I finished an algebra and a chemistry. Then I had lunch and went to tennis. After tennis we went back to school. We had a high school meeting and then we did some PBL. Now about to clean! P.S.A.T. tomorrow! Whooo :(

Reflections - October 11, 2010

On this Monday at Oh we started out the day by printing our Google Calenders for Amy. Then I went into the language room to get focused and start H.O.P.E. I started by nutrition log and looked up some calorie counts for different activities. The we had brain break and we played Team Blob Tag and Steal the Bacon. After brain break I did some more H.O.P.E. then it was lunch. After lunch we played kickball for 1/2 and hour then we came back to school and went to music. After music I did some Algebra, cleaned and now I am doing reflections. Not much got dome at school but I am going to go home and finish what I set out to do today! Whoooo!!!!

Reflections - October 7, 2010

Today at Oh I started the day by doing some Chemistry. I completed a lesson in the morning and then went to brain break. At brain break we did a relay race and then I watched as everyone else played Blob Tag (I cannot run because of my leg). After brain break I did the Chemistry assignment to the lesson from the morning. We also did some Language Arts this morning. We talked about the books that we are going to read and when we are going to be doing with them. I am going to be reading The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman. Then we went to lunch. I did not got to tennis and instead I did some Algebra. After doing some Algebra we did some Design with Mr. Tim and Mrs. Dana. Mrs. Dana told us today that we are going to have a make-up session with the make-up artist at Salon Twist! All of the high school girls are very excited about this! Now I am doing reflections and about to start cleaning. Another Thursday at Oh is complete!

Reflections - October 6, 2010

Today was my first day back at school after my trip to Ohio. I had a pretty productive day today. In the morning I started Latin. I finished 2 reading lessons and one assignment in Latin. After brain break I emailed my expert and started my argumentative paper about hybrid cars. After lunch we played kickball as usual. We went to music next and learned a new song. After music I did some H.O.P.E. and then did some reflections, cleaned and went home. What a Wednesday.

My trip to Ohio - October 1, 2010

The beginning of my adventure started by me getting up at 2:40 which was not very pleasant. Then we had a 2 hour drive to the Pensacola airport.

 After a small wait at the gate we boarded the plane to Atlanta. 

At the Atlanta airport we were sitting at our gate when a football player sat down...then another one came...then another. Soon there were about 20 or so football players surrounding us. It was crazy!!! I felt so small next to them!

After the football players  boarded their plane we did the same and we were on our way to Columbus, Ohio. 

My friends mom picked us up from the airport and took us to my Aunt and Uncle's house. After we waited for my uncle to get home we left to pick up my car. At this point I had been up for about 16 hours.

Our drive to Brighton, Michigan took about 3 1/2 hours. On the way there we stopped at McDonald's, and it was pimped out.  

When we arrived at the mans house who sold us the car I was soooo excited!!! When I saw the car in the garage I flipped out! I was absolutely in love with it! After we finished everything with the man who sold us the car we drove back to Columbus, Ohio. We got back around 12:30 am...I was sooo tired but I had a wonderful day!
