HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORDIN!!!
Today was a great day! The whip was amazing and we celebrated Jordin's birthday at Summer Kitchen. I finished the last DBA for Latin this morning and finished a chemistry lab this afternoon. A lot of my day was spent helping people with school so I did not finish as many assignments as I wanted. I am so happy tomorrow is Friday! Whoop Whoop!

Reflections - January 11, 2011
Today was our first all FLVS day with the new schedule. I think the day went really well and I have an open mind about the upcoming weeks.
This morning I started to work on a chemistry lab. I worked on this for most of the day.
At kickball today the Butterflies of Hope completely killed the Dominators. The score was 16 to 1! It was a good comeback from yesterdays loss.
After I was done with my chemistry lab I started an algebra test.
Ms. Sylvia came in around 1:45 to talk about the most common errors in our papers and ask her any questions we had about our Civil War papers.
During the time that Ms. Sylvia was at school some people were testing the fire alarms; they were going off for about an hour or so! it was soooo loud!!!!!
Today was a pretty good day and I want to say welcome to the OH-Institute family Cale, Chase, Taylor and Joanna!

Reflections - January 5, 2011
I woke up at 8:00 today when I normally wake up 7:15 I had to rush to get to school and made it at 8:45. The Whip this morning was if you had a magic wand what would you use it for. I said to get all of my school work done so I could start second semester. After community time I got right into algebra 2. I had to email my algebra 2 teacher to help me with a math program called Geogebra since it was not working. Because I for this I wasted an entire morning block trying to figure out how to fix the program. At Brain Break today we played Heads Up 5 Up. After Brain Break I started a chemistry lesson which made no sense to me. I did some practice problems on Double and Single reactions and then started the assignment. I got about half way through when lunch rolled around. After lunch I finished the chemistry assignment and unfortunately I got a bad grade on it. I then started on a Latin assignment and I have to translate 3 paragraphs from Latin into English. Not fun. We then had scary story time. Now going to clean and go home to work more on school. I am really tired of only doing school. Everyday all day is school! I can't wait until summer!

3rd Block Self Direction Rating/Reflections - January 3, 2010
In this block I finished an algebra assignment and finished reading and taking notes on a Latin lesson.
Self direction rating:
8 out of 10
I wanted to finish the Latin assignment to the lesson that I read in this block but we had a high school meeting.
I feel that the 3rd block was the most productive block for me. I think this is because everybody energy really died down when Taylor and Cale were not in the room with us. I felt like we were all really excited to have them here and when they were out of the room everyone went into a normal work block.
